FYI for those guys wanting timelines....Sent my application in on Dec 2nd, got the email that my application was accepted on Jan 2nd.

I hope the call for an interview comes soon.

Do you have any letters of recommendation?

Did you send it electronically or did you fill it out in ink? The reason I ask, is because I have been wrestling with the app for about 2 weeks and have yet to figure out how to fill it out on line. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Congrats and good luck with the rest of the process.

You can fill it out neatly with a pen, I did just that and had my app accepted and got an interview date all in under 2 months total. Had a friend send a LOR to add to my file. Good luck! I am very excited to have the chance at this GREAT job!

Sounds like that is the way I am going to do it. Just curious, was your LOR an internal rec?"
Good luck with the interview.

I have one letter of rec that was internal. Another one coming.

I filled out the app with a pen. I really don't think it makes a difference as long as it is legiable. There is so much info that they want and the space where they want you to write is so small.

On a side note, when they asked for flight times, alot of my times didn't add up. ie... single engine time plus multi engine time should equal total time. Well, for what ever reason may be, I was off on that one by about 15 hours???? Go figure. I didn't worry about it, I just put what was in my log book. I have close to 7500 hours and if they want to discount some flight time, that is fine with me.

I know some guys will say, that that shows a lack of attention to detail, but come on....I am just an ordinary guy with ordinary problems. I know what the right thing to do is, and I don't get too wrapped around the axil with the small stuff. Hey, I am fun to fly with!

There you have it.

Simon. I agree with you. I have approximately 4200 hours and I have spent 8 hours going over my logbooks trying to get the numbers to match. I have logged every flight in my log books with detail but cannot get the numbers to match.

How closely do the human resources people scrutinize the numbers?

Thank you.

I also received my app accepted email yesterday on Jan 2nd along with a friend of mine that sent in his packet around the same time I did. Mine was received Dec 3rd.

I am very excited. I've been pouring over gouges and whatnot and I even downloaded this add on to Microsoft flight sim
( http://www.eaglesoftdg.com/CitationII.htm ) and have created a file called NetJets sim ride to start practicing. It's about 20 bucks and has steam gauges so it's perfect. I actually heard about this from someone who did it before they went to the interview and they said it was great preparation.

Good luck to all who are pursuing a job at NetJets! I hope to be working with you soon!

I don't know how off all the others are, but my logs have been off almost 6/10 of an hour for the last 4000 hours or so. I was not about to go back that far and find the mistake. It wasnt a problem in the interview and was offered the job a few weeks ago. Good Luck!

My earlier post may have been confusing. My logbooks are off by about .9.
I am having trouble tabulating all the numbers ie, single engine land instrument time, single engine simulated, piston me land pic, instrument etc.
I am okay on the jet time pic versus sic etc.
It's all the other time giving me fits.
