There is tribute to a WWII bomber pilot, Dick Bodycombe, inside the rear cover. I flew with him at the Yankee Air Museum, where he checked me out in the C-47 and B-17. For me to be in the B-17 with an actual WWII combat veteran is a thrill that is almost beyond description and fulfillment of a childhood fantasy. He was the last WWII bomber pilot still flying a WWII bomber when he retired from flying last year at age 81. That is a goal we all could look at with envy.
