This series going on should be called "how to prevent you from sleeping" as it's a disturbing series. This one below is about social media, it's interesting to learn that if you have an open seat on an airplane and you're traveling you can't advertise it for someone looking to travel, publicly. Watch the related videos, if you don't want to sleep at night!

 
I did an FAA webinar on this subject yesterday evening. Not specifically on social media but an overview of illegal charter. The interesting thing is that EASA in Europe is different. It has worked with organizations that are doing online connecting of pilots and passengers for shared flights. An example is Wingly.

You've never heard the phrase"holding out" before? Basic difference between private and common (public). Check out 1986's AC120-12A. It's out of date but continues to be a good source for the concept. Just don't get pulled in to the common fallacy that "private carriage" is Part 91).
