Yes,currently hiring and have been for the past year and a half. Don't know much about the SIC program.

Hey Airnet folks... how is the charter side. Do they hire outside people or promote from within. How many planes and bases? I see them @ LNS every now and then. How is the pay and sched?
Thanks

Jetride is doing well, they hire both from outside and promote within, there are about 15 planes, and I'm not sure how many bases. At least about 10-15 bases. Pay is dependent on experience. I believe an experienced sic starts at about 50k. They appear to be working out the kinks in scheduling.

50K is way too high for an SIC on Jetride. Starting pay for an SIC on the LJ35 is between 32K and 40K depending on experience. Jetride only has 5 or 6 bases. They seem to be doing well and work a 2 week on/1 week off schedule with a three pilot rotation. Some months the fly a lot and other hardly at all, from what I was told by two pilots there. Overall, they seem to be doing well.

Here are the salary ranges for Jetride:

Salary Ranges

Lear 60 PIC: 62,500 – 73,500

Lear 60 SIC: 40,000 – 60,000

Lear 35 PIC: 50,000 – 60,000

Lear 35 SIC: 32,000 – 40,000

The last update on bases I heard are as follows:

1. Ontario
2. Birmingham
3. Dallas
4. Columbus
5. Kansas CIty
6. St. Louis
7. Chicago
8. Scottsdale
9. Lancaster
10. Bedford

And sorry about the confusion, when I said 50k to start as an experienced sic, I meant as an experienced lear 60 sic.

Unfortunatly MKC is now all Central Air Southwests' territory. Used to have a Navajo based there that would go between MKC-DSM. The aircraft based there is a Challenger 601; and that position is all ready taken.

You make the call

How long does it take for a phone call after submittal of an on-line application?
Thanks

Call Craig Washka and tell him who you are. If you have the hours make the effort. 1-877-247-6386 then #2

SIC program must be doing well, the last class had 2 out of 4 people that needed to build time and i think the newest class has 1. i think the norm is a phone interview before anything, depending on the outcome of that.....an in-person interview.

From what I have heard, back in the day it was as low as 400-500 hours. But now it seems to be around 1000.
