3515 - Project Manager, Contract Implementation Position ID:675Open Date:10/10/2007 Close Date:10/16/2007 Location:ATGFull / Part Time:FTNumber of Positions:1Grade Scale:Grade 6 Job Summary:Reporting to the Director Labor Relations, this position is responsible for managing the contract implementation plan. Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define a comprehensive plan for the implementation of the pilot agreement
  • Identify, log, and analyze potential issues and risk associated with the project
  • Evaluate and communicate any changes to current procedures
  • Assist with the management of changes to IT systems and applications
  • Continuously monitor the status of the project
  • Ensure project requirements are achieved prior to the established deadlines
  • Define and manage overall change control processes and quality assurance aspects of the project to ensure project success
  • Define and manage overall project risk identification and mitigation process through interaction with project constituents
Job Qualification:Required:
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. <LI class
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and other software programs.
  • Excellent written development and communication skills.
  • Be well organized.
  • Display initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to relate well with others.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent changes.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance in current position.
  • Previous project management experience.

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent.

I was under the assumption that, since most of the details of the contract have been agreed to for quite some time now, that A PLAN WOULD ALREADY BE IN PLACE for implementing this thing?

Anybody else concerned that they're just now thinking about how to make this all work? :eek:

No, they are just now starting to try to figure out where the loopholes are.
