Anyone hear of any companies that have left TAG, and have either gone out on their own, or joined another 135 outfit? I can't believe that all of TAG's former accounts have all gone to Sentient. There is just no way that is going to happen.

I know one GV Charter Ally that signed on with EJM and was very unimpressed with the Part 135 indoc. Another G550 operator took his operation in house. A lot more to that story than meets the eye so I'm told. Certainly there are a number of operators who have jumped ship as they were all being romanced by every Tom, Dick and Harry management company. I'll bet that there is a 25% defection rate over the first six months. I know that Senient has wroked hard to keep as many of the TAG employees in place doing the same job as possible so as to give the existing clients a degree of comfort after this debacle.
 
My brother flies an XLS that was a Charter Ally with TAG and they went to EJM. He thought the indoc there was pretty good. The conformity took a bit longet than normal. He thinks the FAA was holding that up since their jet was former TAG/AMI. Just taking a little extra look. Also, they negotiated a better deal with EJM than with TAG/AMI.

Could not disagree with you more regarding the FAA holding something up as they gave a blanket approval to Sentient for conformity with words to the effect that they knew there were no problems with these issues as they had been over them with a fine tooth coomb already.

I also have friend that went to EJM with his former Charter Ally XX. The only issue that they had was the EFB that was installed in their aircraft. Apparently EJM does have Ops Specs approval for the EFB, so they had to remove it. One thing that TAG/AMIJC never claimed to be was the chaepest.

We are all betting that the XX does not stay at EJM for long.

OK, so is it just me, or is there something fishy about Jane Garvey, former FAA Administrator, being on Sentient's Safety Advisory Board?

Not sure that I understand your post but obviously you were there, so whatever happened must be the case and yes I was aware that they had numerous ramp checks which I believe all went okay?

I do not know where you get your information but is is absolutely not true. All aircraft are conformed in accordance with the regulations and have FAA oversight. Additionally, the FAA has not allowed the acceptance of prior .299s.
