Just curious if anyone knows the story on N142ZV, a Beech 1900.

I saw this plane parked next to the Delta gates at Providence last week and again yesterday. It is painted all white with no markings other than the registration. Apparently it has been painted that way for a few years.

The FAA registry says that it is owned by Mesa. Just curious what it is doing on the east coast.

Thanks for the info...guess I didn't realize the connection between Air Midwest and Mesa. Any idea why the plane has been kept sterile white?

Air Midwest....MESA....flies on the east coast

Not to be a smart ass, ok, maybe a little ...but it depends on what is meant by "Mesa" I believe the company that owns all of the above is Mesa Air Group, or some similar name, so it wouldn't be inaccurate to say it's owned by Mesa.

Not being a smart ass at all..... BUT, I don't think I said Air Midwest was owned by Mesa. I simply made a connection between the two companies.

Yeah, I was still about halfway through my first cup of coffee, so I might not have grasped all the subtlties of your post. Anyway, Air Midwest and Mesa airlines are all part of the larger Mesa Air Group. None of this of course explains the white paint job, or what the airplane is doing..... some smaller operator also owned by Mesa Air Group ?
