Is anyone out there conducting interviews during this lean time? If so, are they just "going through the motions" or are they hiring people through the interview process? Thanks.

Well, I'm not certain about regionals, corporate or freight, but we (jetBlue) continue to interview and hire. Ops normal for us.

Boston-Maine Airways is inerviewing and hiring, if you want to put up with max BS, no union protection and horrible management!
www.bmairways.com they say lookking for captains but are looking and hiring both. Required to sign a 5 year training contract but contract full of holes. Just be careful!

I believe Great Plains plans to interview some soon for their newly acquired D328 Props. Only problem is they want a ton of time. www.gpair.com

I wish I could qualify for Jetblue or Airtran. The problem is my lack of 121 time and the fact that I don't know anyone at those two companies to walk my resume in. If I sent it in, they would just toss it to the side like a thousand others they get in the day. Thanks for your reply though!
