Anyone here with Air Transat? L-1011?
Having been a longtime fan of the L-1011, I want to fly on one before they are all grounded. It seems as though my best bet is Air Transat, as ATA is using them exclusively for military charter flights.

If anyone here is from Air Transat, are jumpseaters allowed on flights over international waters? Is the schedule fairly reliable on which aircraft will be flying the route?- If I buy a ticket on a flight that says it is an L-1011, is it a sure bet it will be a TriStar?

If anyone else flies for another L-1011 operator that has any good ideas about how to get on one, please let me know.

Thanks!
Matt

They don't allow jumpseaters in Canada anymore. Unless you are a TC weenie.

Like all airlines, there is no garuntee that you'll fly the L1011, it could be swaped for any other equipment.
