Just wondering if anyone that has sent a resume to Avant Air heard anything back yet. If so how long did it take? And, if you were not competitive did they let you know? Thanks

sunchaser I sent them two applications, one on climbto350 on the 04/01/05 and the other on planejobs 04/05/05. Havent heard anything yet. Dont know how long itl take either. Hope its soon though, would love to work for them.

let me know if you hear anything, I'll do the same. When did you apply?

Same here, put my stuff in a week ago. Havent hear squat.

Premier Jet Operation?

Are you applying for the Avanti P180 positions or the Premier Jet positions? Someone mentioned that they have 2 Premier Jets but that it might be a separate operation.... Can someone provide more info on the Premier operation in terms of growth plans and pay, etc.?

Just a thought, you might want to learn the correct name of the company before sending them a resume, that may be the reason you haven't heard from them.

Hey d!ck what is wrong with it? Show us all how smart you are and tell me what you think it is. This thread is for grown ups trying to find a job, if you want to play games go somewhere else. Help or just leave it alone.

oh my god!!

Pretty important to get the name of the company right on
the resume.

On the resume, yes....on flight info NO

Ok maybe you are right about not getting the name right on flight info, except for the fact that if someone does a search for avantair, and not avant air this thread will not come up.

ok

Ok I'll give you that one.......

Hey Mr T let box....YOOOO ADRIAAAAAN!!!!!!

For some of you who have responded so professionally (you know who you are)...don't worry too much about your spelling or wait time. You're very unlikely to get hired with the attitude you have. Certainly if you do, you won't last...here you are supplicating for information regarding a potential job after which you've gone seeking. When given a response, any response, your reply should be "thank you." Instead, you revile and spit.

Not my fight and not my dog, but you wouldn't last long in my cockpit.

sunchaser I did a search and found a lot of info on the company , as well as on the aircraft on fdlightinfo. avbug wold be a good one to ask re technical stuff should you want to.

on a different note, there is a job posted on airjobsdaily for Piaggio Avanti captain, pity I dont make the cut

avbug you sure did hand out a beating, who to...I dunno:confused:, 'slong as its not me :D

that's why avbug i'm not in your cockpit.

remember it's a team it's not all about you.

Diesel,

Don't snap off at the mouth too quickly there, mate.

Posters here were quick to spout off with very unprofessional responses, and inappropriate responses. Posters wanted information, and as soon as someone commented, particularly regarding getting the company name right, the supplicators bounced back with name calling and childish statements...they came across sounding very unprofessional.

If that's how they behave here, they can expect little consideration in a professional organization, and personally, I would give them no better. I do work as a team, but only with professionals. I reserve flying with children to introductory rides and boy scout merit badge sessions.

For the record, that wasn't close to a beating. It was a constructive comment...those seeking employment might consider that all the folks doing the hiring visit this board, regularly. I know that for a fact. They might also consider that this isn't necessarily an anonymous logon. More than a few times I've been given the identity of folks here and elsewhere, by various means.

For the posters who come here to ask for information and then rail against those who reply, they needn't consider themselves acceptable material for a professional cockpit environment, and needn't consider themselves proper for a "team" environment. They need to do some growing up.

Specifically, flybet3 leaps to mind...

Yeah, but you have to admit that there are too many tight-wads on this board - this isn't a spelling contest.... People come to these boards seeking information and opinions - not opportunities to prove their spelling ability or how professional they can be. People seeking information don't need to prove how grown up they are - just give them the information/opinion they seek or don't respond - simple as that...
