Time will tell, re: 747 :p

Is it a good co. to work for??

Well, nice atmosphere in GSO as the bosses are decent folks..So far.

Initial pay is better that Kalitta and Southern and them guys.

On the other hand: They got growing pains big time with lapses in crew support and infra structure and such.

Guess it could be worse, and it could be better: Word on the line however is:
SNAFU....:D

CYS,

You appear to be employed, My Man. I'm proud of ya, Bro. Hope it all works out well. This company has been around a very long time. I think I remember seeing their CL-44's there many, many years ago flying blue jeans to SA to be finished up. You can't argue with longevity.

Please keep us all informed about how it's going for you there.

Yup, I saw 'em as well flying CL-44 to Boriquen and back to GSO way back in '86.

Yup, sort of employed, but still in training...Easy schedule however:
3 weeks ground school, 3 weeks off, 11 days CPT/ SIM, 3 weeks off, etc.

Training pay is about the same I had for first year pay with my previous "major".

Line Per-Diem at $3.00 per hour is better than any other US airline I have worked for however.

Again, growing pains, but it could turn out to be a decent job, or not..
