Just curious ...

In the mid-80s, when I was still playing John Wayne (US Army) and still trying to be a rock star, I used to get Guitar World every month sent to Germany. I remember reading a Steve Morse interview where he talked of being an FO for either American Eagle or ASA (I thought). Since I was always an aviation nut, but just couldn't afford to get started, that kind of stuck with me.

So, I was curious ... anyone remember him? What kind of guy was he? Good stick?

He was at ASA. I just flew with a Capt who remembered him. Sounded to me like he was just a basic nice guy who liked to fly airplanes.

I guess I'm too young

Pardon my youngness, but who's Steve Morse? :D

Steve Morse currently plays in Deep Purple. Has played with Kansas and The Dixie Dregs. I saw him on tour this summer and with Rush as the Steve Morse Band I believe. Great guitar player. Nice to know there are so many rock stars that spend their cash on flying.

Rock On!

I think he was a Bandit f/o for awhile. He still goes to Oshkosh with one of the RJ captains - also named Jeff - the one with the fly-in airpark.
