Anyone commute out of San Diego?

I'm moving to San Diego next month and will be commuting to MSP or DTW. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a cheap place to park at the airport or nearby hotels with shuttles?

The Sheraton across the street from the airport lets you have parking for $40 a month. Need to show your pilot ID. They'll shuttle you to the terminal from the front door. Anyway, this was the case as recent as October last year. I haven't had to use it since then.

I don't have an answer about parking, but lived in San Diego for 4 years a way back.

Great city to live in- if you can afford it. Rentals are really the only affrodable housing. Mission Beach and Dog Beach are great in the summer and winter. Good food along the beach, with pubs and micro-breweries.

Enjoy it. I hope to get back there someday.
