Story I get is really good peeps getting passed over...... is new eval really a good gauge?

I would assume that 95%+ of the applicants are good pilots and employees. When you have over 8000 applicants, a lot of good people will be passed over.

What would be your criteria in trying to hire the "best" of 8000 pilot applicants?

It's a new thing at Spirit, it use to be an ATP questions exam the day of the interview. Part of the recruiting process requires you to go online and take two assessments. One is the personality characteristics and the other is a problem solving mental alertness "timed" assessment (you can't study for either one). Both are deal breakers. If you don't pass you get a no thanks email. If you pass you get a call to interview. Good luck to all. Spirit is a good company with good people.

Thanks! I got the call yesterday for the COG test, but no email yet. Maybe it's sent on a Friday?, lol. I"ll wait another day or two before I start bugging people. I have taken about 20 sample 16pf personality tests the past few days and looking at my results, I can't imagine for the life of me not getting passed it. The COG test is something I am familiar with as well and usually seem to score well. Wish me Luck!, just waiting on the email link to take it!
