Yeah. Follow the arrows... Yes, all the way to the left of your screen....
You know what they say, "support our sponsors"

:D

anybody use the Jeppesen FlightLog, or the SafeLog, or SkyLog programs?

any comparrisions on what's the best and most feature rich, I like how some software have graphs and things, that's pretty neat

I picked up safelog about 6 months ago. Very nice. Download the demo. Its fully operational just limiting the number of entries you can put in. I used the printouts from it when I joined a new flying club. They asked about flight times, I was able to printout the log sheets as well as a chart breaking down all my flights, including distances as the system computes the airmiles between airports when you put them in.

Lots of slick features and a great price :)

I recently checked out SafeLog and thought it was atrocious. The web site got my attention thinking, hmm, this one looks good. Then when you download it, what a pain to use and it has hardly any features or things to really help me out.

yeah I am starting to learn towards safelog myself just for the reason of the price.

I don't like how you have to buy a license to use logbook pro on multiple computers. common, what is that all about, you buy the software once, you should be able to install it and use it on all of your computers. Besides I have no idea how Logbook Pro would even know how many computers it is installed on, but anyhow, I still don't like the idea of it.

So I guess I will check out safelog more. Hey for $35 and no upgrade fees, versus the $99 LogbookPro price, I don't see how it's worth it. Plus SafeLog seems to have more features than LogBookPro, and from what I can tell, you can install it on all of your computers. So what it doesn't have PDA support, but I don't own a PDA anyhow..

I'm just a little pilot. I don't fly big birds, so I just wanted a basic logbook and this does it. It has the features I needed

that is nice. I have it installed at work and home. No problems.

Yup. I bought it along with one of the FAA test prep products so they gave me a bundle price :)

This is typical of almost all the software you buy. Installing it on more than one computer is probably in violation of the license and the penalties are stiff. Be careful what you say on a public forum, it has bitten more than one!

I am just asking, how the software knows that you have installed it on more than 1 pc? if you own the pcs yourself, like a home desktop and laptop, why can't you just put it on there without buying anotehr license, I just don't get it..

safelog looks really cool by the way.. I just downloaded it and starting testing it out
