If there are any recent TSA refugees hired on at a fractional reading this board could you fill me in on life on that side of the fence, also looking for a LOR. I haven't had any responses to my resumes and I'm thinking I need an internal reference to get the ball rolling. Any help would be appreciated!!

Anyone else reading this, If I don't already know someone at a frac outfit, how do I go about getting a letter of recommendation? I'm willing to meet anyone in the Richmond area for dinner: my treat!

Dude, get out of TSA ASAP. Going to NJA would be a really good move or CS too. Tell me that dumb kid Greene isnt still there at TSA???? He was a check airman there when I was there back in 94' and I'll never forget that kid, as in a bad thing. What can I do to help you dude?

I guess what I'm looking for is some insight into how this process works. I have more than the required minimums, I have sent in my resumes and cover letters via mail and e-mail, but with no response. I don't have any inside connections and I was looking to make some in the hopes that a letter of recommendation or maybe someone to walk my resume in may speed up the process a bit. Do I even need all of that? It seems like a hiring wave is underway and I don't want to miss the boat. Any thoughts??

Also, I don't know of any Check airmen named Greene, which sounds like a good thing......
