Here's the question - I'm 31 (Please read on) is it possible to get a slot with any guard or reserve units. I was a displaced FE when my unit transitioned from C-141's to C-17's so I heard waivers were a possiblity for displaced personel. I'll be completing my degree this May and curious for some insight.

Thanks,

J

Are you in a guard/reserve unit? If you are, you need to talk to them. That would be your best bet. And yes...they do give age waivers...but at 31, you're pushing it. You need to talk to them NOW!! I'm an IP in SUPT and we're seeing a lot more students (from guard/reserve units) in their late twenties/early thirties.
