Just wondering if there is anything news worthy going on these days....awfully quiet. Does it seem like the flying is picking up at all?

NetJets, FlightOptions, CitationAir. Who is Shares? Do you mean CitationShares, what is now CitationAir by Cessna?

If you have to ask me who "Shares" is, then you can't answer my question anyways.

Good news about the record sales month.

Yep, you are right. One "Shares" fractional is hiring and taking delivery of new airplanes, and one isn't. I wasn't sure which one you were talking about. Now I know. You are talking about the one that isn't.

Jan. 6, 2010 --- Executive AirShare today announced that the regional fractional aircraft ownership company and its wholly owned aircraft management subsidiary, Executive Flight Services, finished 2009 with eight Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft combined in its fractional program and managed fleet, as well as the first Phenom 300 aircraft delivered by the Brazilian manufacturer-solidifying the company's status as the world's leading operator of Phenom aircraft.
Executive AirShare expects to be the first company to operate Phenom 300 aircraft under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135, a distinction the company also holds for the Phenom 100 entry level jet aircraft. Since April, Executive AirShare has logged more than 1,500 flight hours in the Phenom 100, and was the first established fractional to operate the Phenom 100 under FAA Part 91(k).

"Executive AirShare has increased the size of its fleet by 40 percent this year, despite a challenging economy," said Executive AirShare Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert D. Taylor.

Marketing gibberish at its best. "World's leading operator of Phenom aircraft"-eight jets. Flew 1500 hrs in the last 10 months. At 150 hrs/month, even half the fleet size is slow operations at best. Don't misunderstand-I'm all for fractional success for all involved. I just get a kick out of how execs who earn far more than the crews justify their existance.

we were told we had an 'all time record sales month' in Dec, but havent heard anything since..

"All time record sales month" could mean they sold the FEWEST ever...

I'm sure it's what you said, but these days nothing suprises me.
