Well, I got kicked off the alpa boards for not paying my 2nd merger fund payment. Also haven't been to work in a while..

Any news on furlough dates yet. It seems like the last scheduled passenger 80 flight is on Sept. 7. But I haven't gotten my 30 day notice yet.

I was black listed from ALPO website for not payibg any of the assesments also. I have not received any formal letter yet myself. How about those 80 lines next month...what a disgrace. 8

Word is that starting the 8th of September, a class of 6 pilots every week lasting about 1 month of training per pilot. MY guess would be that furlough letters would start to be sent out in September, anticipating guys coming on-line throughout October and continuing from there.

they have to give them 30 days notice. So earliest day, maybe 9/15/08....

one can hope TH is constipated (or explosive diarrhea while talking in the LaGuardia room) considering oil is falling and he is giving away all that market share by parking 13/38 of his fleet.......

Last time he said " we had a plan to be profitable at $115, guess what its even lower than that now.

Timmy's plan for profitablity at $115 bbl oil was to end the fiscal year with money in the bank just as he announces his retirement and passes the problem onto someone else at which point it would be almost impossible to recover.
My suggestion, have him go back to school and repeat kindergarten thru 12th grade; each grade in two weeks, regraduate and then he can have the company back!

You hit the nail on the head. Giant penguins are actually telling him how to run the company.

Also, instead of having a stack of aviation related publications on his coffee table in the cookie palace, he's reading "Drunk 80 year old Grandma's". Oh, by the way, I call dibs on throwing the first graduation party for Kindergarten which will include chocolate chip cookie cakes and Big Wheels and penguins!
