Your question reminded me of Capt. Scott O'Grady and his book he wrote about being shot down. When he was radioing for a signal, an F-16 picked up his frequency. The Capt. told the pilot who he was, but the pilot needed some sort of identifier. He asked O'Grady what his squadron was in Korea. O'Grady replied, "Juvats, Juvats, Juvats!" Sorry for any hi-jacking I did to the thread, but I thought it was cool to see there were some Juvats still around.
Just checking your attention spans. You are correct, I crewed an F-16C, Block 30, Aircraft 86-353, 80TFS, 8Th Airforce. Kunsan AB was a great assignment for me and at 19 years old I did a lot of growing up in a short amount of time.
It was probably the only assignment in my short USAF career where the Crew Chiefs and Drivers partied together. Anyway good observation and are there any JUVATS in the house?
