I've got 900TT and 600ME and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any potential employers for guys like me who are so very low on the food chain, and where I would be able to live in the Cincinnati area?

I've got this post under the cargo section because that's what I would prefer, but I have no illusions about being able to be so picky. If anyone.....ANYONE, has any potential job leads that would get me somewhere close to Cincinnati, I will be forever in your debt. Even a lead on a flight instructor position up that way would be greatly appreciated! I've just got to get out of Florida and back up north before I lose my mind :)

The one thing I have learned in this business, If you want to live in one particular spot, do not choose aviation as your career.

However, if you insist on being so selective (which is a mistake for ever really doing anything with your career in my opinion) try Airnet. Get another 300 hours doing what you are doing, then start beating the bushes over there for a ref. letter etc. They pay decent for a check hauler and you can eventually get to a Lear. They are based in Columbus, You will probably have to move around a bit to start with but eventually you should be able to settle in Ohio.

Oh and one other thing. Cinci??!!! Are you nuts??!! I lived there for 6 months as a Reserve Captain and was about to shoot myself from boredom!!!!!!! Oh well, different folks............... :)

Im from Cincy myself. With your hours, you can't do cargo until you get your 135 mins, thats 1200, etc. I would try instructing there for awhile. Try KLUK, posisbly Franklin Aviation. Also, take a look at Blue Ash, especially Blue Ash Aviation, formerly Schmidt Aviation.

Once you get your 135 time try Flight Express. They have about 6-9 runs out of Lunken. They are a good company.
