Just wondering if anyone know or might know of places near Raleigh, NC that hire or likely will hire instructors within the next 7-8 mo.?

I might be moving there (for reasons outside of flying) and just like to get a heads up on schools in the area, preferably with multi training!

When the time comes to move, I'll probably have had my CFI for 2+ years too.

The airports in the area are:

Raleigh / Durham (RDU) - Southern Jet and ATP have schools
Louisburg / Franklin County (LHZ) - has a flight school
Smithfield / Johnston County (JNX)
Roxboro / Person County (TDF)
Chapel Hill (IGX)
Sanford / Lee Co. (TTA)

A little further out you have:

Erwin / Harnett County (HRJ) - I know they do glider inst. there.
Goldsboro / Wayne County (GWW)
Rocky Mount / Wilson (RWI) - Air Care has a flight school
Fayetteville (FAY)
Kinston (ISO) - there's a school there (name ??)
Pitt / Greenville (PGV) - Dillon's Aviation does training
Burlington / Alamance County (BUY) - Burlington Aviation

I can't tell you much about the job market or what schools might be hiring, but hopefully this gives you some idea of the airports you can look in to. I'm not sure how many of them even offer flight training anymore.

Good luck!
