Does anyone have any info on the following companies:
Avantair
Focus Air Cargo
Capital Air Cargo
Airtran Airways

Just wanted to know more about each. Quality of life, stability, pay, interviews, etc....the usual crap!
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Avantair is a fractional that operates the Avianti twin engine turboprop. They are ALWAYS looking for dispatchers, and have INSANE job requirements, like 2-5 years 121 dispatch expreience and a college degree. They couldn't possibly pay enough, there are no flight benefits. Focus is always looking too.

Thanks. I knew about the hiring mins for avantair but didn't know if it would be worth it. I'm in 121 right now and heard to stay away from 135. Any other info please feel free to PM me....Thanks again

135 is very different, you have no operational control. You are preforming the same basic job, however.

last I heard......Focus was hiring flight followers from Embry....pilots who are going to become FE's
