I am looking for Inforamtion about Inland Aviation in AK? I am would like to find out if the planes MX is OK and if managment is good to work for. Also any information about flying out of Bethel would be nice.

Thanks

I did not work for Inland, but was next to them on the ramp. Descent planes and maintance. Good schedule. Two weeks on and two off. Jumpseat with Alaska Airlines. They provide housing while in Bethel. The flying in Bethel is what you make of it. Go in with an open mind, and you could walk away a diffrent person. Think you are gods gift to flying, your going to the wrong place. Sounds mean, but flying around at five hundred feet with fifty knot winds is eye opening. You see other pilots doing it, and you will feel/be presured into also doing it. Just remeber that those other guys will problay have several thousand hours flying in those planes, and into those runways. With all that said. I loved every bit of it.

Where did you fly the Beech 18 and 99 at?

I applied for work there, sounded like a great bunch of guys but what turned me off was the $600+ trip to alaska $35.00 an hour about 50 hours a month 2 weeks on 2 weeks off Free Housing & Jump seat On Alaska and a 1 Year commitment. Now if they would have set me up a flight to Alaska I would have been all over it. But I am not going to blow $600 or more on airline tickets!!
