I live in SoCal and am looking for any leads where I might be able to build some time. I really only need about 100 hrs to be "current" so I can start applying for jobs again. Ideally, I'd like to sit right seat in something and build ME time, but if it means flight instructing or volunteering my time, I'd be willing to do that too.

Why would yo volunteer your time with 2400 hours?

Just because... Maybe I'm wrong and haven't looked hard enough but it seems that a lot of flight schools want a one year committment and I don't want to burn any bridges if I leave early. Companies won't look at me if I'm not current... Again, maybe I've heard wrong, but this is the info I have.
