I don't have the CFI-I yet, just got the commercial. I have heard that some schools will put you at the top of their hiring pool if you get the CFI-I with them.
Is that accurate?

Do you know of any flight schools who are looking for full time CFI's?

Thanks for any help.

What area are you looking? I know a joint in the Dallas area looking to hire 2-3 full-timers.

It is interesting that when i was on the other side of the aviation as a CFI trying to find some work, it was the hardest thing to do. Now that i am on the hiring end, finding a good CFI is a very hard thing.. Your best bet it will be a place where you get your training.. They will now you.. As a school owner I 'd hire someone that they got their training from me in a heartbeat unless that person is a jerk..

For me the #1 priority is the personality. Safety comes right close second..

Good luck

You're right, most companies hire according to ones personality; they keep them due to their performance.
