What were your experiences . . was it a good place to work? What was the schedule/equip/management like?

Thanks

Had two friends in there, one doesn’t work for them anymore.
He was there 4 years and had to pay for his type but never upgraded.
I hear horrible stories about that place. Upgrades are based on kissing a%$^*&^s and for the most part they like to hire street CA’s because they don’t like to pay for training. Mx has bad reputation as well.
Is funny, I was just talking to my friend in there and told him that I ran into the guy that use to bring part of my cargo for the company I worked for long time ago ( 2 ½ years)
He left way before me to work for them and still is an FO.

But again this is just them talking. I never worked there so I couldn’t confirm this

Good luck

I thought they were paid on a "daily" rate? If you don't fly you don't get paid... Did I hear that wrong?

Have a good friend there flying the 604. He says as far as 135 goes, it's a pretty good operation. You do pay for your type, but they repay you the full amount over your first year of employment. He says mx on the 604's is very good, rarely an MEL, but didn't know much about the Lears. All pilots are salaried. Fly 10 hours and you still get your salary - fly 80 hours and you still get that same salary. Most guys he believes fly about 60 - 75 hours a month. He says the CP is a good guy, but there is somewhat of an ass kissing environment. As far as schedule, it's 135 - there is none. You have some sort of a rotation. Fly a trip, and when you come back your the last guy in the rotation. Overall he says it's at the high end of 135 - but he doesn't like the legality aspects of being on call (they don't feel that's duty). Unfortunatley, that's very typical in the 135 world.

I'm sorry, but paying for your own type SUCKS in this tight labor market. I can't believe a bunch of CHUMPS would actually do that.

If you really aspire to flying Learjets and Challengers, how about go to Flexjet instead and not pay for your type...

I concur. But doesn't Flex have you sign a two year contract? Almost six in one hand - half dozen in the other. And Flex's pay is pretty bad.
