Another Waiver question

I know a guy who is a LT(pilot) in the Army reserves, he isn't quite finished with his four-year degree. He has about 3 classes left, is there a waiver for the degree requirements in the AFRES? An AFRES unit hired him but the recruiter told him they can't make the transfer without the degree, how true is this?. Anyone know of any waivers or anything? Thanks, I could tell him to get in touch with who ever he needs to.

Very true. Recruiters do lie, but not in this case. Tell him to get his degree.
