AIN is reporting on their website that the FAA has proposed an increase in user fees for the budget proposal overhaul. It proposes a 300% hike in fuel taxes, fees for registering aircraft, PILOT LICENSES, AND MEDICAL CERTIFICATES.
Usually user fees are paid by people USING the service, not by the workers PROVIDING the service!
