Is there a way to get in touch with a Polar pilot? I'm trying to touch base with an old friend of a friend.

Does the typical [email protected] work (in this case @PolarAirCargo.)?

Also, would walking in my own resume in Purchase NY do any good or do they frown on that?

Thanks in advance.

I actually called the office in New York to ask that very question. The chief pilot told me they pretty much frowned on that due to post 9/11 situation. He told me the preferred way was an internal 'walk in', fax or email. Just the info I have.

Thanks, ATR

Atlas / Polar Info.

ATR & Goggles,

The word we are told from inside is that we now hire pilots to put in a candidate pool, and whoever requires a pilot (Atlas or Polar) will be offered employment at the hiring company Atlas or Polar, not sure if you can now request to work for any particular company. Maybe a Polar guy can tell you if he has heard otherwise.

Just email or fax your resume to the Chief Pilot or H.R.
