They want someone who is Lear Qualified....and willing to accept 22k a year.....

Pretty freakin sad,

That comes out to around $85 a day before taxes.

I pay burnout pothead high school dropouts more than that per day in my business.

Unbelievable.

Makes it hard for a guy like me (married with a baby on the way) to eventually earn a living in this business.

?

bombard this guy's mail address and let him know its unacceptable. Actually he's probably sitting on 100 resumes with his quals willing to fly for free. Nature of this biz.

Do you think you'd walk a resume in to the chief pilot for me. I'm willing to pay for the training and I'll even work the first 3 months for free.

Please please please

MEL Turbine

Hey this could the stepping stone for the CFI ready to move up and it can not be too much of a pay cut for a CFI. MEL TJ SIC will dress up a resume. Stand by for flak, there was no degree requirement, could not resist

Not likely....

There's better jobs out there for someone with those quals.

Experience preferred

Companies often put that "experience preferred" in their apps, but often hire without it, just like the degree preferred places. True story about a Navy P-3 buddy of mind, ex EAL (20 yrs), unemployed, sees an ad at Rich In't, seeking L-1011 pilots, only those with L-1011 flight time need apply (we have all seen that). well he had been an L-1011 FE and had gotten about 90 hours of part 91 stick time in the 1011, ferry flts, maint etc. So he applies, gets in class only two guys in the room of 16 had ever seen the inside of an L-1011. Two months after being on line, they make him a Captain, and a little later an IOE instructor. So don't always believe what is in the ad.

All without a degree....yada yada yada....

L-1011 guy

No the L-1011 guy had a degree, you had to have one to get into Navy flt training after Mar of 1966
