We were flying from BWI-FXE this afternoon around 4:00PM and as we were over Virginia, a Beechjet (not FLOPS) called, "Mayday, mayday, dual engine flameout, declaring emergency!" They requested vectors to nearest airport and were given a descent to Norfolk. That was the last I heard....anyone know anything about this?

They should ground the entire fleet Beechjunks...

It ain't no problem with the beechjet. The jt15 doe not just flame out because it is mounted on a beechjet.

We left out of Newport News at 1300 or so in our Beechjunk  and flew in mod precip and some ice to about GSO on our way to JQF. Could it be be they may have forgot to turn in the ignitors of forgot to turn on the the engine heat, only time will tell.

or the ramper forgot to turn on the prist ;)

Based on recent happenings, I'm sure every Beechjet sim session includes a dual flameout to a landing. I'd like to think so at least.

They started doing that after the first one happened.
