Another ASA Mexican Flight (Maybe)

Today Delta Connection carrier ASA applied with DOT to replace Delta's one daily Los Angeles-Guadalajara 738 flight with two daily ASA CRJ-700 flights around March 2006.

With two daily flights on the CR7's this is only a loss of 10 seats each direction over the 150pax 738, but an obvious increase in frequecy. Could this help our status in SLC. The planes will have to get to LA somehow, probably from SLC.

It's amazing we still have that 738 on the LAX-GDL route now. We dropped LAX-MEX 6 months ago. But, we supposedly applied for LAX to CUN and Cozumel, so we'll see if that happens.

I heard a little rumor that CHQ (145 aircraft) will start some flying out of ATL in JAN. I think the markets include SBN, ISP and CVG. Rumor is that the 170 will quickly follow.

Yeah they are so much bigger than those CRJ 700's huh? Last I checked they both have 70 seats and have seen those taxi just as slow if not slower.
