One more question for Airnet Guys, Does AirNet have a prop base in Houston specifically or anywhere else that is not listed on the website? Thanks

I think that there is still a prop run there. Its 492 or 493, a baron run. It takes nukes down to the valley. This was as of last fall, when I was based in DAL. Im on the east coast now, well out of the loop.

493 goes from Hou, to New, then back to Hou... and i thought there was another prop run down there, but i could be wrong.

492/493
M-Th HOU to Jackson, Mississippi, then NEW and back to HOU

F Hou to Jackson and back

bases in SLC?

I was recently talking with a friend who flies the 310 and he had mentioned a RUMOR that Airnet is looking to get a base in Salt Lake. Anyone else heard this rumor and if so can you elaborate. Thanks.

They don't have a base in SLC, however AirNet does have a new run out of Oakland that goes to Salt Lake, Denver, Salt Lake and back to Oakland

There is a large UPS contract out of SLC that we bid on. Along with about 50 other companies.

Airnet hiring?

Is Airnet hiring or what? I've been applying for over a year and I exceed the135 mins, even left a voice mail For Craig and I update monthly. Are things slow right now or am I doing something wrong here?

If you listened to the pilot recruitment hotline this week Craig said that they have been having problems with the online application, and to be patient while they are fixed... this could be the problem with your app. continue to do what your doing and best of luck.

I just talked to Craig last week. I'm at 1300 total with 386 multi, and he said that I score a 70 out of 100 on their online app.
Needless to say after wanting to work for Airnet for all of my short career, (well since 1999) I've decided that maybe not having a college degree is what's holding me back after all. I meet all of the requirements for 135, but it's all supply and demand. They have a system to tell them who has worked out well in the past, and they don't seem to have any reason to tinker with it. I guess the only thing to do is to keep at it, and update monthly. After things turn around, and there's some movement in the industry then maybe whats competitive at Airnet will change. Personaly I'd be more than happy to fly a Lear for Airnet for the rest of my career, but it's not in the cards currently, and I can't wait forever. I'll be starting school in the Fall to finish my degree in hopes to get into law school and someday get back into flying when things change. I love flying, and I can't imagine life with out it, but there is only so long you can wait untill things get better. Best of luck to all of you,
TJ
