Are there any NAV or NFO types out there that have gotten a age waiver for UPT from the ANG? I've heard it could be done, but every unit I call (so far) tells me to forget it. I've spent most of my active duty flight time in the right seat of an S-3 (the NFO handles copilot duties), I've got my CFI/II, and I'm just not all that jazzed about "giving up the stick". But when I get out in a year and a half, I'll have just turned 31. No offense at all to NAV/NFO types - I just feel that I'm better at, and happier, driving the bus. Any advice or leads would be VERY appreciated.

Age Waiver

There are several threads in the mil section about age waivers, try doing a search, you should be able to find some helpful info.
