ANG near Portland

Anybody out there have any info about the guard units near Portland (PDX, Fairchild, Klammath, Boise)? I'm trying to strategically blanket the Northwest with some applications. Let me know if you have any advice.

They have F-15,KC-135,and HH-60.McChord had C-17 and Fairchild also has KC-135.

Are the 17s still flown from McChord? All the others are familiar, but the ANG site doesn't list McChord.

I dont think McChord has the an ANG unit with C-17's. I know they do AD and reserves with the C-17 though. Go goang.com for more unit info.

Portland and Klamath have F-15s. To be hired at Klamath you need to be an F-15 IP. Boise has A-10s and C-130s

CC how hard is it to get hired off the street to fly F-15's at Portland.

I'd say....very hard, as with any Guard unit. 30+ apps for every one slot. But, you've got to go for it if you're thinking about it.
