Anyone know how well regional airlines respond to requesting time off to meet with an ANG board for flight slot? I have an interview upcoming in Feb, but don't know if I should use those days as sick days or if most would be willing to accomodate, or if they must let me off as military requirement....

They are not required to let you off to interview with the Guard. You should use vacation time or go unpaid.

Of course, I'm just office trash, your mileage may vary.

SEFLyer,

Good luck! Flying in the ANG is a good deal.

Maybe you should not use that avatar as your picture in your application package though.

My company gave me time off to interview, unpaid of course. They don't have to but asking doesn't hurt.
Where are you interviewing?
