Interesting post....I had to bite...
At Mesaba one of our hotels, a former hospital in Rochester, Minn. is haunted so I am told. I have never been there but it kinda creeps me out. Anyone know for sure?

The Partridge Inn in Augusta, Ga. has all sorts of wierd happenings. You always here of people wanting to move rooms because of lights flicking on and off, footsteps in the room, water turning on, etc. It is a very old manor turned hotel back in the early 1900s and supposedly a girl's fiance was wrongfully killed on the way to their wedding (at the manor) and she died of a broken heart, and still moves about the place. Most crews will NOT stay on the 4th floor. Oh yeah, her name was Emily.

Someone told me they heard the Holiday Inn City Center in South Bend was haunted...... Never seen anything....

I heard some creepy looking "tall man" has been pulling into the Arcadia hotel in CMX with a hearse and had been going into the rooms to steal DNA left there by Mesaba pilots, so's they can clone 'em.

Don't quote me on it, though.

The Irma

The Irma Hotel in Cody Wyoming is supposedly haunted. I never had anything happen to me staying there. Back in the day when Air Wisconsin served Cody, supposedly one of the stewardesses ran out of her room in the middle of the night wearing nothing but her underwear because she said that there was a man standing over her bed. (I wonder if this "man" bore a striking resembelence to either the captain or first officer?) I've talked to some of the hotel staff (i.e. the bartender) and she said that she had had a few wierd things happen to her down in the hotel's cooler. (Corks shooting off random wine bottles, strange noises, etc.) There is a picture in the dining room of the Irma of the way the bar in the hotel looked back in the 1910s and there is a definate "ghostly" looking image of a man standing near one of the pool tables. If you're ever there at the the Irma take a look at that picture, it's pretty spooky. Unfortuantly, GLA does not serve COD anymore. The Irma was my favorite hotel in the system, it had a certain "character" not found in any of the other hotels.

The hotel that XJ used to use in Paducah, KY is supposed to be haunted(the hotel on the bank of the Ohio river). It was apparently built on the site of a former prisoner of war camp used during the Civil War. Not to mention there is a boarded-up/abandoned mental hospital next door. I did a few high-speeds there for 9E when I was flying the Saab. The interior of the place is dark and gloomy, something right out of the film "The Shining". I did have something strange happen to me one night there. Be thankful you switched hotels.

" did have something strange happen to me one night there."

Like what?

Jumers Castle Lodge in PIA features a ghost in every room!

Place looks like a transylvania castle and is slightly tattered. Rooms have individual themes and feature paintings of people with eyes straight ahead, so as you walk around the room the eyes appear to follow you around.

I loved staying there 'cause the food was great (lunch buffet requires a strecher and a nap) but the urban legend from Air Wisconsin was they stopped staying there 'cause a FA complained that she was raped by the ghost.

Room 210 in State College Ramada is supposedly hauted. Girl was murdered there (suicide?) several years ago.

Always fun when the two pilots go out for a few beers and the FA doesn't want to go (and happens to be staying in 210 and very paranoid about it). About 3am when we come back from the baahr we do some ghostly scratching on the door just to see if she believes in ghosts...

Never been beaten so hard in my life.

Well, since you asked. Before I hit the rack for a little nap on the high-speed, I brushed my teeth, etc. I left a hand towel on the basin by the sink, when I awoke a few hours later it was gone. No lie. I looked all over the room for it, under the sink, in the bed, under the bed, in the closet. It had vanished. The door was locked, dead-bolted, etc. Apparently, something, not someone, is fond of taking towels at this hotel. When I mentioned this to the van driver in the morning he sad it wasn't the first time someone had reported things missing out of their room. By the way, I'm not one who takes towels home from overnights.
