So..? Thats a pretty common statement in job ads with bigger companies these days. I'd rather see a company encouraging minorities to apply than one offering $18k/year for a jet FO.

Uhh....can you imagine if they said non-minorities and males encouraged to apply?

Sounds a little different that way, huh.

What is equal opportunity about that? I don't have a problem with minorities/females having this job, but what about saying highly qualified professional pilots encouraged to apply. And then talking about how they encourage a diverse workplace.

BTW- who said this job doesnt pay $18k

Once again, just my opinion.
