Attention Crew Members

Due to our rapid expansion and in an effort to provide more opportunities for Mesa Air Group pilots, we are considering waiving some of the equipment restrictions, one time only. For example: Jet First Officers may be allowed to bid to Turboprop Captain.

Guidance for equipment restrictions is found in Section 23 (7) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Mesa Air Group and the Air Line Pilots Association.

Please update your standing bid accordingly by October 30, 2003.

Sincerely,

Captain Steven J. Christl

Chief Pilot

Mesa Airlines, Inc.

These morons (mgmt/trn) are avoiding having to pay multiple training costs on a pilot that might not make his career at Mesa, but in the long run it ends up costing them more, for cancellations due to poor staffing level which is what's going on now....I wish they'd see the BIG picture....
