Anyone in the March 13th class? I Bumped up my Interview to this monday, and was asked if I could be ready for class on the 13th if I get through the interview. How long does class run? Pay? Housing?

Thanks
Tony

Damn that ramada was a dump 6 years ago, I can't imagine how bad it is now. Give Bob a kick in the nutz for me, and Stu if he is still around. A great bunch of pilots past and I am sure present.

Nope, Stu is gone. Went to a corporate gig. But Ameriflight just wouldn't be Ameriflight without Bob. ;)

Hootie's right on pay. Nothin' till indoc is done. Then California minimum wage till you complete your check ride.

When you get to class, sit down, shut up, and pay attention. If you open your mouth and something stupid comes out, Bob will use you to provide humor for the rest of the class. It's really quite entertaining, because there are always people that can't help themselves and keep their trap shut. :D

try not to be mesmerized by his four inch wide tie knot either. i'm convinced bob wears it that way to catch the unwary student off guard, and nail him with a question in class. btw, if Petah asks you about the ruhmahduh, then he only wants to know about your stay at the hotel. it only took me three weeks to understand he was trying to say ramada. btw, it's not as bad as they make it out to be. head down to ralph's and load up on pbj sandwiches, pop tarts, cheetos, and cereal. that ought to get you through training pretty cheap. have fun and study hard. good times.

When I was in indoc., I used to walk all the way down to all the good places on Empire... EVERY night. Starbucks, Sharky's, Sbarros, etc. Anything to get out of the Rama-duh.

The Ramada blows, but its kinda cool wandering around. It's not that bad of a walk.

Why should you walk all the way down there when you have the beautiful, exotic, high class joint known as Whispers Lounge right there in the Ramada Inn itself! :D

Oh yeah, I went in there a few times too. I can't remember that bar tender's name, but she was a piece of work. Nice lady, but that voice of hers was like nails on a chalkboard!
