Can anybody recommend me an AME located near TEB? I will be there this week and need to get a first class.

I recall hearing that Jet Aviation has an AME onsite, might give them a call.

According to the letter we received from Jet Aviation a few weeks ago they will have a Senior AME on-sight.

For those based on, using, or just passing through KTEB, note that there is now a full time FAA Sr. AME at the Jet Aviation complex. Routine hours are 1300-2200Z, with off-hours and urgent/emergency medicals on request; emergency prescription re-writes available. The doctor's name is Jan (yon) Galla, he told he he was a cardiac surgeon for many years but had been interested in aviation medicine for a long time so he decided to do this. I got a very thorough exam and some excellent advice on my recent medical issues.

Not the guy to go to if you want a mirror-fogging physical, but a very good physician.

I second that - worth the drive - just for the entertainment value.

hate to bad mouth anybody but went to doctor at Jet Aviation
and it was just a little too strange, asked if I wanted digital exam (imagine rubber gloves), said no thanks, plus he charged $175

Again Dr Naddle is the way to go...Like someone else said the entertaiment alone is better than standup comedy and he is very, very fair and knowldegeble (sp?).
