Ameristar Troubles?

Does anyone know the current status of Ameristar? I heard a rumor that they were having big troubles either bankrupt, or ceased operations. Just a rumor at thins point till someone in the know confirms it. I know they have been EXTREMELY competitive on their bidding for trips etc. Maybe they ran out of cash? Anyone in the know? -Batfish

I doubt it. They had a good June. I think it's just a rumor, but I'm not "In the know".

Yea a good June compared to Mar and Apr, but not to previous June's. June was a pretty dead month compared to the last five years. June is suppose to be the hottest month around, I will bet this year June was not much better than a good February.

Their still around i hear a learjet going into Jackson Ms every night around 11pm.

No, they are still around. I talked to an Ameristar guy a couple of days ago and he didn't have any more hours in June than I did. Yes, JUNE sucked this year. Hope for a strong August again this year.
