I would like to know what is the latest at Amerijet. If anybody that works there could tell me the good the bad and the ugly, since I am considdering going to work for them. Thank you very much for your help!!!

I left there 5 years ago so what I would have to say is totally old. I will say that I had a good time there back then. I think that now they want you to live in South FLA, as none of the lines are commutable. They just voted in Teamsters. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I hear Amerijet will be flying the "Vomit Comet" 727 for zero-G incentive flights for incentive trips, etc. I understand they have a specially-fortified 727 to fly these flights. That might be fun...

I've seen one or two of their 727s equipped with winglets - anyone know how many they have? Nice look with the winglets.

Ajt

Worked there 2 years, still have lots of friends there. Its not a happy pilot group. 121 international supplemental means, very long duty days enough time to go home and sleep and then fly again. One bid last year actually had three (3) days off! My advice if you NEED a job take it...if your happy where you are stay. Goodluck
