Does anyone know if the Amerijet 727 that I've always seen sitting at DAB flies on a regular basis, and if so, where does it go?

Hmmm OK I thought I saw activity over there, but I guess I was wrong. Who owns it, the same person that owns all those Convairs?

Amerijet 737 at ELP

Amerijet also has a former-Southwest 737-200 sitting in the backlots over at El Paso as well. I asked a lineman what it was doing there, and he said that they had purchased the aircraft, and when they started getting it ready for the cargo biz, they realized it was going to end up costing them a boat load more money then they had anticipated - so it was just sitting there being unused.

Might be a similar story to the 727 mentioned above.

No Amerijet does not,

The only Boeings Amerijet flew were B727, you may be thinking of Ameristar. That 727 in DAB is the one I flew on my IOE many years ago.

The former SWA 737-200 at ELP is an Ameristar aircraft.
