I SEE THAT YOU START ON THE PIPER LANCE AT AMERIFLIGHT AT 1700 A MONTH..DOES SOMEONE KNOW THE PAY SCALES FOR THE OTHER EQUIPMENT? AND HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE ME TO FLY A TWIN AT AMERIFLIGHT......THANK YOU

Stiop Yelling. Also put it in the right forum. This is general not cargo.

I interviewed at Ameriflight almost 2 years ago. I was told in the interview that the Lance is only considered a trainer/transition aircraft to make it easier for new Part 135 guys to pass the checkride and learn 135 flying. The move to the Navajo (sp?) was only supposed to take 6 weeks on some guys with good twin time and/or previous 135 experience were being direct hired to the Navajo.

However, I never worked there so this could be a line they feed you at the interview. Also things could have changed in the last two years now that airline hiring is in the crapper. But since no one replied to your post, I thought some info might be better than none.
