I've done a search already but was curious if any present AMF pilots could help answer my question. I've been offered the opportunity to interview for FO on the E120 (Charlottesville) and was curious about the QOL and upgrade time. I know that AMF prefers to hire within before going off the street. I am currently flying SW4s and have over 1300TT, 660 AMEL and 500 Turbine. Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

I am the FO on this run. Its a easy run, leave 9pm back by 7am. You get about 5 hours of sleep in ILN at night. I have been at AMF for 7 months now and im going to class for the metro around may 21. You probley wont get capt on this run for a very long time. The capt has been here 8 years, there are some other pilots that will mostly take the run befor you can bid it. But you can goto the metro and then e120 capt in CVG or maybe TX after a 1 1/2 here. The book times to get in the metro are something like 2500TT 1000twin, and the Bro its 3000TT not sure about twin. PM me if you need anymore info

It's a good opportunity to get in the door if nothing else. Like Flyin'Tony said, don't plan on an upgrade anytime soon. I think I'm the most junior Bro. captain in the system and I'm at two years seniority. Plan on doing like Tony and taking a Metro elsewhere and then maybe getting an opportunity to captain the thing later. I started in the Navajo and then the 99 and Metro and only got the Brasilia cause the current FO didn't have enough time and no one else bid for it. Kind of rare, but it could happen again I guess.

AMF poster child.

LOL! Hardly... I don't look half as good in uniform as you. Moleskin told me you guys were down in SAT at one point and had a 5am show. Apparently he thinks you were up at 3am for a 35 min. shower scrubbin' between your fingers, exfoliating, and starchin' the shirt. You make me look bad...

:D

You shower? What's wrong with you guys, that's extra sleep your missing out on. It's been raining so much up here in PDX that you could get away with going with jeans and a t-shirt under the full body rain gear, not that I would think of doing that.

Yeah, well I don't deny it. It takes a lot of work to make something this ugly look this average.

Are you open to single pilot? With times like that, despite the low total time, the multiengine and turbine time might put you in a position to bargain for a BE99 captain position.
