Anyone put in an application to Ameriflight lately? I submitted my app online and sent a resume via the email address as well and was wondering what to expect for a phone call to interview. I applied March 7 and I am at 1375/150 for times.

Thanks

Good Luck!!!

They seem to treat their pilots well once you get through training.

I'm in the same boat brother. I sent in an application about a week before you with 1185 TT 235 multi with no word yet. I was wondering if any kind of follow up should be done (phone call)? Good luck, maybe I'll see ya there.

You need to get ahold of the assistant chief pilot(ACP) at the base that you want to get. Following up with them would be your best bet.

a good way to follow up would be to contact the head of pilot recruiting. call the amerflight home office 1-800-800-4538, and ask for jerry clark's office. tell him you filled out an application, and play a little getting to know you/ tell me a little more about your company. i would do that at least once every 1 to 2 weeks. he's a great guy and is easy to talk to. hope this helps.

Check your time

Just Jay,

Ameriflight requires 1200 total (Part 135 IFR mins). I know it seems like a small thing, but you should update your app as soon as you get that other 15 hours. They aren't gonna call you until that figure shows up in the computer.
