Was glancing through airliners.net and saw a picture of an AMF BE-99 on final to St. Maarteen???

How long have ya'll been flying down there?

Anyone?

Yep, Amerifilght has one aircraft based out of San Juan and is expected to increase its fleet later on this year. Not sure who its doing the flying for, but it is eventually going to grow and become a pilot base.

The 99 has been in San Juan since last fall. They were supposed to get a 1900 by Nov 2003. That hasn't happend yet, but the latest "rumor" is Feb.

That Feb rumour for the BE1900 is probably true. I swapped out a perfectly good
1900 in OAK that is destined for our San Juan base for a bucket of bolts in its place!
