its good, im just bored of doing the same run every day, looking at going back to PHX base instead of outstation. that way i can get more flight time and have a better schedule. only prob is i'll be flying mostly the 99 and getting 99 pay. also looking at going to puerto rico but we'll see. hows life at express going for ya

Express isn't that bad. I am still on reserve in IAH. I will be on reserve for another 6-8 months. I fly on avg 50-70hrs/month.

Things are interesting right now with the SkyWest deal. Who knows, maybe I end up begging for 202 back in OAK.

So, all AMF's contract work cover the times when you go ad-hoc (on a regular basis ie AMF74XX,etc) against us full-time On-Demand guys and under cut our business with your $600/hr rates for metro flying?

How many of those 8+ hour trips did you fly 7 hours into your 12-hour reserve assignment?

Can't be paying all, too, well. particularly having your balls nuked?

Curious?

100-1/2

If it was 600 an hour for a metro I would be flying alot more.

Would you be able to commute to CVG if based there, from say BUF? Would you be able to get away on the weekend or would you be stuck there for 3 weeks straight then home for a week? Thanks.

Right now no you would not be able to leave on the weekend maybe 1 time a month you might be able to. It changes by the hour so I could say yes one day and then no another. If you were able to get system wide TDY you could still live in BUF (if thats where you live) and they will airline you to where they need you. We have 3 TDY pilots that have been comming to this base for the last 3 months on the 3 weeks.

Thanks. Is that something I can request if I apply?

Yes you can ask for it, im not sure weather they will bite though

Particularly as there are guys already with the company who are asking for that and would have priority before a direct hire. Best chance would be to hire on into an opening and then try to move to system TDY after 6 months or so.
